Project Detail

Leader : Bologna University

Description:  The trainings will be designed not only for the applications of additive manufacturing (AM) in industrial companies but also for AM entrepreneurship. This approach provides an innovative solution by involving small-scale organizations and individuals with an interest in AM entrepreneurship. To raise awareness among young people who have the potential to pursue entrepreneurship in AM, as well as those who lack educational opportunities and access to industrial organizations, an AM entrepreneurship-oriented training curriculum will be developed. This is particularly important within the Industry 4.0 ecosystem. In this work package, 28 trainers and engineers will be trained in-depth on AM, and an experimental environment will be created to ensure that all trainings meet ADDress standards. After the training designs are developed, a test environment will be set up to assess the effectiveness of the training for individuals with limited knowledge, enabling necessary improvements in quality control before the training curricula are fully implemented.

Methodology:
The first step will be the preparation of AM technology training modules, followed by the development of entrepreneurship training modules. Trainer training and test group trainings will be carried out as LTT activities. After the curriculum analysis and skill mapping of existing human resources are completed within the scope of the project, the curriculum preparation group (Gazi University, EPMA, UPM, Bologna University, and Infotron) and the trainers (academics, VET teachers, engineers, etc.) will prepare the trainer training program.</p
